According to UNIZIK NEWS, there was an accident yesterday evening along ifite rd.
The accident according involving a
Mitsubishi bus with students aboard and a 608 'tinker' bus occurred close to the popular Green House Bus Stop at Ifite.
Confirmed reports have it that though no life was lost, the victims sustained varying degrees of injuries and have since been taken to the hospital for treatment.
An eye witness reported that about 8 students were severely injured and are currently receiving treatments for various degrees of injury sustained.
"It is worthy of note that students have often complained of the carefree attitude of some drivers especially with speeding and leaving their bus open while on transit. We pray for good health and quick recovery to our students as we reach out to the drivers to be mindful of the way they ply the Ifite route".
