Popular Lagos-based lawyer, Festus Keyamo, has petitioned the State Security Services and the Nigerian Police over an alleged threat to his life by an ex-militant leader popularly known as Tompolo.

Some days ago, I told you guys about a man, 25yr old Moses Onianwa (pictured), who worked with Oshimili North LGA, and was allegedly shot by policemen attached to Ibusa Police Station in Delta State during last Saturday's Local Government Area elections (read here), unfortunately, he's passed. He died in the early hours of this morning October 30th at the FMC Hospital in Asaba.

24yr old British-Nigerian lady, Joy Williams (pictured above) has died after a failed £2,000 butt enlargement surgery in Bangkok, Thailand. The young lady's older brother, Anietie, who lives in Nigeria, said the family didn't even know she'd traveled to Thailand.

The Nigerian Police Force have withdrawn the security detail of the Speaker of the House of Reps, Aminu Tambuwal, who recently defected from the PDP to APC. A 300 level student of the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Physical Sciences at the University of Benin in Edo state, Ejiroghene Gbenidio (pictured above) was shot dead by unknown gunmen inside the Ugbowo campus of the school on Friday October 24th.

According to reports, Ejiro was attending the jeans carnival of the final year students of his faculty when he was accosted and shot in the head. He died instantly.

Photos: Three more kidnap buildings demolished in Anambra state

Anambra state government over the last few weeks have demolished 3 buildings located at Aguleri and Umuleri, Anambra East LGA, which they say were used to keep kidnap victims.

The buildings include a four room bungalow at Ararite Aguleri owned by a man from Umuobanam but used by his caretaker, one Jude Onu from Imo State and his gang. Other kidnap gangs were said to have used the building as hideout while negotiating for ransom.

25 year old Blessing Onyibe Nwogbagami, (pictured above) has been arrested by men of the Ebonyi state Police command for killing her husband, Mr Onwe Nwogbagami, near their home at Ojegbe Amike Ugbodo, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.

FG to Ban Commercial Motorcycles Nationwide

The use of motorcycles as commercial means of transport in Nigeria, popularly known as ‘Okada’ or ‘Achaba’ may soon be banned throughout the country. 15 year old Jaylen Fryberg (pictured above), a member of the Tulalip Native-American tribe, entered his school cafeteria yesterday morning around 10.41 am, walked over to a table, pulled out a gun and shot five students. 27 year old Reyhaney Jabbari (pictured above), was executed today October 25th by hanging in Iran 7 years after she killed a man that she claimed had attempted to rape her. Reyhaney was sentenced to death in 2009 for the stabbing death of Morteza Abdolali Sarbandi, a former intelligence officer.

A court ruled that she killed Morteza on purpose because she had bought the knife two days before she stabbed him in the back with it. In her defence, Reyhaney said she'd stabbed the man out of self defence. The court overruled her claims and sentenced her to death, a ruling which was upheld by Iran's Supreme court.

This governor is a character...lol. He went on his knees to worship God at an occasion which held earlier today in Port Harcourt to mark his fourth year in office.
