Although the Ghanaian National team currently lacks a coach, 3 prospective coaches have already been interviewed for selection as the teams coach.
Former Super Eagles Coach Stephen Keshi knows all this, but still went on Accra based Happy FM to declare his intention to be Ghana's coach Keshi said
"Of course, yes I will like to manage the team. Ghana is going to be like my baby,"
"Having the opportunity, I will do my best to make sure Ghana come back to the elite countries. The focus will be the African Cup of Nations, the country hs not won the cup in a long time and i know Ghanaians are desirous to win it"
"But like i said before, we have to get the job first. I want to coach the team if the opportunity is there..."
Reacting to this, Ghana Football Association president Fred Crentsil responded saying in an Interview with News Men;
"Unfortunately we are not considering any other names and so Sephen Keshi - Who we respect alot - will not be able to make it"Mr Crentsil spoke further saying;
"We opened the window for application and it has been closed for some time now.We have even short listed and interviewed three coaches, we are in the last stages of sending a report to the FA Committee"
